On a personal note...

​A thank you to my friends, family, colleagues, co-workers, collaborators, and, of course, my students, for all that they have given, shared, and taught me over the past nine years. Today, in addition to becoming chair of the Department of Film Studies at Connecticut College, my tenure officially started, as did my promotion to the rank of Associate Professor. I've been working towards tenure for nine years as an Assistant professor, on top of my graduate and undergraduate years -- it has felt like a very long journey. Throughout it all, thanks for being there. I look forward to decades more of teaching, learning and creating.
