That's a wrap!

7/18/2016

At about 4:30am on Sunday July 17, we wrapped shooting A Peculiar Thud! It was an incredible experience and yielded footage that has left me breathless. Matt Herbertz led a cinematography team to reproduce the feel of darkness on a moonlit night - and the fear that someone could be lurking in any of the shadows. Malcolm Mills' performance as the lead was absolutely outstanding. The entire production was a well-oiled and efficient machine. I've been making films for 20 years now; this was likely the best production I've ever run.

Clockwise from left: Lindsay Sirois (Sound), Gregg Hammond (Catering), RJ Wilson (Grip, Damnationland Producer), Malcolm Mills (lead actor), Tom Digges (Assistant Camera), Kyle Clark (Gaffer), Matt Herbertz (Director of Photography, Producer), Ross Morin (Writer, Director, Producer), Stuart Vyse (Assistant Director)
A few pictures below will give you a taste of what the film will look and feel like -  they are just a mere hint of the actual quality of the cinematography. They have not been color corrected or touched up but I'm including them so that you can get as excited as we all are. I'm so proud of my team.
